Five highly regarded packaging professionals were honored on Thursday, May 12, when they were inducted into the New Jersey Packaging Executives Club (NJPEC) Hall of Fame. The event, with more than 100 guests present, took place at The Manor in West Orange, NJ. Recipients were nominated by their peers for outstanding work and leadership in their field.
 
This year’s inductees are:
 

• Allan Hafkin, Vice President, Global Package Development, The Estée Lauder Companies, Inc.


• Mitchell Kaneff, 3rd generation CEO, Arkay (In a special, touching tribute, Howard Kaneff, Arkay’s 2nd generation CEO, was inducted alongside his son—the first father-and-son to achieve this honor.)


• Michael Warford, director, business development, ABA Packaging


• Tom Heaslip, Retired – Head of Global Packaging, Colgate-Palmolive Co


• Kevin MacCarthy, Director of Packaging, Palmetto Package Development
